Mi Bella Islita specializes in Puerto Rican cuisine, as well as cuisines from other Spanish-speaking countries in the Caribbean. The client wanted a new, more refined menu as their previous one was big, cluttered, and overly designed. A dark off-black color was chosen to be the background of this menu as it gives a classy and professional vibe. The accents chosen were a tropical orange, yellow, and blue to represent the sunset and sea reminiscent of the restaurant’s island roots and reflecting their logo. The menu was reorganized into an order that makes more sense for the customers to read it, as well as taking into account the visual hierarchy of information provided on the front and back page.
